Before we discuss the latest update on the impact of COVID, I would like to talk about a recent announcement that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently made. This is about the new COVID Alert app that he encourages you to download in order to keep you and your loved ones safe. It is free, easy to use and helps us break the cycle of infection. In fact, it can let other app users know of possible exposures before any symptoms appear. This way, we can protect ourselves and the people surrounding us.

To give you an idea of what it can do to you, here’s how it works.

1. The app uses Bluetooth to exchange random codes with phones close to its proximity.

2. Every day, it checks a list of random codes from other users who tell the app they tested positive.

3. If you have been close to a user who has tested positive within the last 14 day period, through these random codes, you will automatically get a notification.

To download the app, simply click the button below.
