Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has revised the Proof of Funds (POF) requirement for Express Entry Candidates.

Applicants who have an existing express entry profile should check the amount they have declared in their profile and make necessary changes in order to stay eligible. They must do this no later than July 15, 2021.

The required amount varies among candidates. If you are a single applicant applying under the Express Entry System, you will need to provide proof that you are able to sustain your life in Canada. The required POF in your case is $13,213. On the other hand, if you are applying together with your spouse or common law partner, then you must show $16,449 when you apply for Canadian permanent residence. If you and your spouse are including your children into the application, then you must show $20,222. The table below shows the complete list of proof of funds required per number of family members. Note that if you have more money, you must list the full amount in your Express Entry Profile or application.
