What is the PEI PNP Express Entry?

The PEI PNP Express Entry stream is a program aligned with Express Entry that allows the PNP to search the Express Entry pool of candidates for qualified employees to suit the province’s labor market needs. To be considered for this stream, applicants must have an Express Entry profile in the system.

Express Entry is a system for managing applications for three federal economic programs:

Federal Skilled Worker Program

Federal Skilled Trades Program

Canadian Experience Class

CRS scores are assigned to qualified candidates based on a variety of factors such as age, work experience, education, and English or French language proficiency.

Applicants who are nominated for the PNP while in the Express Entry pool earn an additional 600 points on their CRS score, which ensures them an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in the next Express Entry draw.
