If you missed the 2020 invitations for Regional Immigration Pilot, then this year could be your chance and if you haven’t been on the waitlist yet, it is time for you to be in now.
Ontario Regional Immigration Pilot is looking to invite 150 foreign skilled workers through the OINP Employer Job Offer Category. 64 of which have already been invited on the 25th of May of this year and so around 80 or more are yet to be invited.
The candidates who were invited were registered for the Regional Immigration Pilot Program (RIPP). At the same time, they had a profile in Ontario’s Expression of Interest system. Having an employment offer from an employer of a participating community of the RIPP allows them to Immigrate to Canada through the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream.
If you are not very familiar with this pilot, no worries, let me explain further. So this pilot was launched to help employers hire talents that are hard to find in these communities. It gives the province the ability to invite 150 nominations in 2021 to three rural areas namely Chatam-Kent, Cornwall Belleville/Quinte West.
Click the button below to find jobs from these participating communities. I will explain more about this later in this article.
In order to be eligible to the Regional Immigration Pilot, candidates must satisfy the following requirements:
– Must have a full time and permanent Job Offer from an employer located in one of the rural locations which are Chatam-Kent, Cornwall Belleville/Quinte West
– Must meet the criteria for one of the Ontario Employer Job Offer streams which are Foreign Worker, In-Demand Skills and International Student.
If you are interested in applying to the Pilot, simply complete an intake form and submit it by email to the following email: regionalimmigration@ontario.ca.
To simplify your Job search and streamline your Job hunting experience, I have organized for you all the Jobs offered in the three participating communities of the RIPP.
Simply go to Canada Career Site. In the home page, select the province and the city and click the search button. For example, select Ontario as the province and Cornwall as the city.
Likewise, simply click the button below to take you to the list of Jobs being offered in Cornwall. You can do the same thing with the two other cities which are Chatam-Kent and Belleville/Quinte West.
To make it even more convenient for you, I have created links in the right side bar that take you to each of the three participating communities.
The pilot runs for two years and depending on its performance, it may get extended or discontinued and so the best time to get into the system is to start sending applications in the three rural locations.
